Chartered: February 11, 2002
On the
11th of February 2002, thirty-three, passionate individuals gathered with a shared
dream—to create a club rooted in friendship, service, and a commitment to making a
difference. That day marked the birth of the Pilot Club of Lucaya.
At the helm of this pioneering group stood
Deborah Archer, the club’s Charter President. With vision and heart, she guided the founding members as they laid the foundation for a
legacy that would ripple through the community for years to come.
From its earliest days, the Pilot Club of Lucaya embraced the values of Pilot International,
championing brain health, safety, and youth leadership. As the years unfolded, the club
grew—not just in numbers, but in impact.
Today, 53 dedicated members carry the torch, including one honoured with the title of Emeritus, a testament to enduring service and
wisdom.
But the story doesn’t end there. The Pilot Club of Lucaya became a beacon for the next
generation, proudly
sponsoring two vibrant Anchor Clubs: the Anchor Club of Lucaya and
the Anchor Club of Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Academy. Thanks to these young leaders,
the spirit of service thrives, fostering future leaders who are already making an impact.
We are very proud to proclaim that from its charter to its current chapter, the Pilot Club of
Lucaya stands as a living story of purpose, connection, and transformation. And with each
meeting, each project, and each act of kindness, its members continue to write new pages in a
legacy that began with 33 hearts and one bold vision.
