About the Club

Chartered: April 16th, 1979
The Pilot Club of Freeport was chartered in April 16th, 1979 with 23 members, and was sponsored by the Pilot Club of Nassau.

The Club immediately became an affiliate of Pilot INternational, glopal service organization established in 1921 and a member of Clubs of Evolving Districts (CoED). The club became a member of the Bahamas District when the District was chartered in 2004. The focus of Pilot is Brain Related Disorders causing us to use our talents and resources to support programs benefitting people with brain injuries, Alzherimer's, Autism or Developmenta Disabilities among others. Caregivers of these persons are recognized and encouraged through our Pick Me Up (PMU) Program. .
