Since 1974
Members have been answering the needs in the community through various worthwhile projects — conducting
health and women seminars, volunteering at hospitals and schools for children with special needs, working with senior citizens in nursing homes, and sponsoring
annual scholarships to the College of the Bahamas.
The Club hosts the
"Thanks for the Memories" Ball and the
"Ebony Fashion Show", and profits realized from all fundraising efforts go directly toward helping others in our society.
Heightened awareness of bicycle, road and playground safety for pre-school children through the very successful Brain Minders Program.
Volunteering at hospitals and schools for children with special needs across the community.
Working with senior citizens in nursing homes to provide companionship and support.
Providing soup kitchens for various churches and the public at large.
Sponsoring annual scholarships to the College of the Bahamas to support higher education.
